This collection holds the award winners for the Langara Open Student Scholar Prize. Launched in 2020, this prize celebrates exemplary work being done by Langara students and offers them the opportunity to share their work in an Open Access format. Institutional repositories like our own LaIR provide a platform for scholars to make their work more accessible to a wider audience, enabling knowledge sharing and creation on a larger scale. Students engage in scholarship every term as they complete assignments for courses; doing research, authoring papers, or creating works of art. We hope to give exemplary projects life beyond the classroom and make them available to the larger Langara community and beyond.
