This project evaluates Vancouver’s Canada Line stations based on how well they align with the principles of the 15-Minute City, focusing on proximity, density, diversity, and connectivity. Using data from Vancouver’s open data portal, the study analyzed stores and services, transportation options, population density, and third places within a one-kilometre walking radius of each station. A ranking system was developed to assess and compare stations across these categories, with combined scores highlighting the most complete and accessible neighbourhoods. The findings suggest that while some stations strongly embody 15-Minute City ideals, methodological improvements such as isochrone buffers and expanded regional data could enhance future analyses.
