Abstract/Description

Description / Synopsis

Nine short films by students of the Department of Film Arts at Langara College. In Sugar and Spice, a pair of women create an empire to claim their fortune, and find that it's not all glitz and glamour. In loving memory: An outcast shows up unannounced to a family funeral to make a mockery of the situation. Chaos ensues as thieves attempt to figure out what to do with a hostage who saw too much in It's a crime. Faith follows a man who must come to terms with the idea that there is no divine plan. The guide to Shangri-La sees three teens steal from the wrong people and face a pair of twisted drug runners. A hapless and helpless romantic tries to find love in Time's fool. Run along, Robert shows a day in the life of a young man with a severe aversion to conflict, which takes a turn when he's confronted by a character from his past. In Separation, a young couple struggles for control. Glass eyes follows Lucy, who lives in a world where sleep is regulated by the government and people haven't dreamt in years.
