Abstract/Description

Description / Synopsis

Ten short films by emerging filmmakers. In Drifter, a ruthless bounty hunter discovers the true cost of revenge. A cry for help follows a teenager struggling with a bully who faces demons of her own. Waiting for the end: When her husband threatens to undo everything, a woman, with inspiration from her loyal friend, decides she's had enough. Manuscript sees a has-been author inviting her new assistant to dinner. When asked to steal from her new employer, the assistant's job gets complicated. A young woman is stuck at the airport in I just want a nap. When two film students travel deep into the forest to record sound effects, they overhear something unexpected in Echo. Connect follows two women meeting at a bar, both struggling for a genuine human experience in an increasingly artificial world. In life will do more, a man confides in this therapist about his life goal to confront the stepfather who destroyed his childhood. Two gunslingers pushed into a fight must decide how to take their lives back. In Keeping quiet, a girl's best friend points out her insecurities.
